“CV360” Experiential Day cum “CLAP Keep Exploring” Star Award Ceremony

Chu designed themed graphic for the promotion and activities of a 15-21-year-old NEET youth employment plan that was collaborated by the Hong Kong Jockey Club and McDonald's. Chu was responsible for a series of event design of the award ceremony.

GREAT IDEA IN COTTON

Cotton Inc

Hong Kong, 2019 ​

The exhibition theme is based on cotton products.

Chu mainly design for the visual style of the event. 

She designed a cotton field for the entrance position as a photo-taken area, and designed scenes and props for the fashion show. In order to highlight the integration of cotton products into citizen life, she used Hong Kong city (day and night), fitness room and suburban trails as scenes, also she looking for suitable dummy Models for wearing clothes. 


On the other hand, she designed furniture to display different cotton products, and also designed booths for exhibitors in a minimalist style. Among clothing and fabrics are the main considerations in the exhibition, she used hangers to be the main body of booths.

Mascot Design & Comic

The Boys' & Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong (BGCA)

Hong Kong, 2020

In response to the COVID-19, Chu design of four mascots collaborate with BGCA, namely: a curious boy "B", a careful and clean girl "G", a motivated and impulsive Lion "C", and a knowledgeable White Pigeon "A". 


The characters' personality are positive and educational, providing children and teenagers with epidemic prevention information on websites and social media. Chu also distributed a weekly comic with four mascots on Facebook and Instagram, hoping to convey health information in an easy way.

CHINGU KOREA NIGHT

Member day

Korea Plaza

Hong Kong, 2018 ​

Chu designed the venue of the club for a member night of a Korea Tourism Association. The theme of member night is the Korean railway. Chu utilizes a club's wall to turn into a subway compartment as a photo-taken point. On the other hand, the graphic of member night workshop's souvenir - cupholder was designed by Chu. She used the famous Korean stations to be the theme. Chu was also present on the member night to guide staff on how to handle the workshop.

Booklet & Leaflet Design

Chu designs textbooks for the Academy of Wines of South Africa (Level 1). This book design is based on the four main colors of the South African flag, with photos from WOSA (Wines of South Africa) and infographic.

 

Chu directly contacted and discussed it with customers in this project. For students can absorb content faster, infographic is mainly drawn for data and history.

Burgerman

Hong Kong, 2015

Chu designed a food menu leaflet for Burgerman. The main theme of the leaflet is blackboard and chalk, which is an American style related to Burgerman cooked American Burgers to audiences. Although Burgerman did not use this design, Chu still love the style of it.

Hilti Asia

Hong Kong, 2019

Hilti Asia's booklet is an introduction to the company's work culture and career path. Because of Hilti advocates harmonious employees and the distribution target is college students, Chu design fun and interaction as inspiration for booklet. 


After opening the "box" on the book cover, there are some stickers that correspond to the mini-games in the book. The design of the entire book is based on simple Hilti's brand colors and photos that show the company-friendly culture.

CLAP for Youth @ JC

The Boys' & Girls' Clubs Association of Hong Kong (BGCA)

Chu redesigned the BGCA's CLAP project introduction leaflet to attracted the attention of target audiences aged 15-21. The four main colors are the same as the  CLAP logo, with cute cartoon graphics on the leaflet. The main graphic used the idea of "Hong Kong Tide Language Card", also highlight the Chinese word "搞"(meaning create something new) to relate with the theme of the project - Youth create their life path.
